CIRV Radio is a Multicultural radio station, operating 24 hours a day, broadcasting in 12 languages since 1986. FPTV is a national digital television Portuguese program operating 24 hours a day. Mr. Alvarez speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish and has some knowledge of French and Italian. Mr. Alvarez has been recognized for fundraising initiatives, since 1995 for Worldvision, over $500,000. in donations and more than 1,500 sponsorships, for overseas projects, particularly in Brazil have been raised. In 2010 Frank Alvarez personally delivered to the Madeira Government, $280,000. raised by CIRV FM, in favor of the Madeira flood victims. Mr. Alvarez has been involved in many other fundraisers that have taken place for different emergency situations and successfully raised a lot of funds. Through his varied work and academical experiences, Mr. Alvarez has interacted in a wide range of projects and initiatives, towards the benefit of the communities being served by his radio and television programs. He works well under pressure, can handle several projects at one time, strong organization skills, sales oriented, determined, very hardworking and dedicated team player. A very conscientious, loyal, hard worker with many years of experience in broadcasting, traffic and customer services, excellent interpersonal skills. Mr. Alvarez, through his varied work and academical experiences, has interacted in a wide range of projects and initiatives, towards the benefit of the communities being served by his radio and TV programs.
