Assists children, teens and adults in managing moods and building appropriate coping strategies. Assists teens in identifying who they want to become and how to make choices that keep them aligned with that vision.
As a parent, herself, Dr. Clark helps parents understand and help their children develop into healthy and independent young adults with a positive sense of self and where they fit in the world. She has many years of experience working with families of divorce helping adults and children navigate and adjust to the transition of having two homes.
As a Psychologist Dr. Clark, help individuals explore feelings, and think about how best to express themselves and cope or manage difficult feelings and life experiences. In addition, she help parents and families build positive communication and problem-solving skills. I try to help my clients formulate goals for developing their own skills and making their lives more peaceful and fulfilling.
Dr. Clark graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Experimental Psychology (1980-1984) and received her Ph.D., in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University (1987-1994). She is on the Board of Directors Collaborative Practice of Slicon Valley and the Collaborative Practice of California, she is a member of the Santa Clara Psychological Association.
