Dr. Malcolm Barkan is the head of MIB Environmental Consulting. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with a degree in Civil Engineering. He has over fifty three years of experience in high-tech products and systems including certifications for asbestos handling and supervision, investigations of the remediation, and restoration of sub-surface soil and ground water, investigation and remediation of lead-paint contamination, the development of air and water control equipment, and the development of rail road safety systems. Previously, Dr. Barkan has been an adjunct professor at various colleges in the metropolitan area, including Professor of Management Information Systems at Briarcliff and Production base course at LIU. Mr. Barkan has written over 1600 reports concerning various aspects of engineering technologies. He possesses an MBA and a Ph.D.
